Fruity Pebbles Treats
by Kelly J. Larson
The secret to success with these Fruity Pebbles Treats is to add some Rice Krispies, which are unsweetened and it takes the sugar down to a more enjoyable experience. They are so festive and cute! I love the Fruity Pebbles taste.
Fruity Pebbles Treats
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows
- 4 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
- 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
In a large nonstick pan, melt butter on low. Add marshmallows, stirring occasionally until melted. Turn off heat. Gently stir in combined cereals until well coated evenly with hot mixture. Transfer mixture into a buttered square or rectangular container and press into place firmly to flatten the top. Spread a small amount of butter on hands to facilitate the process. Cover with plastic wrap and let set for several hours before cutting into squares, triangles or any other shapes.
Get creative with how you cut your Fruity Pebbles Treats.
It’s hard to go wrong when all it takes are these three ingredients — cereal, marshmallows and butter. Enjoy!
