Fudgy Brownies
This is the sixth brownie variation on my website and it’s slightly different from the previous ones and absolutely worth sharing. I’ll just get right to it. I’m adding pecans, but feel free to omit them or add your preferences.
Fudgy Brownies
- 4-1/2 ounces flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup pecan pieces
Place butter and chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 45 seconds. Stir together until smooth. Add sugar, milk, vanilla then eggs.
Add butter mixture to dry ingredients, stirring until combined. Stir in pecans. Pour batter into 7-1/2 inch baking pan with removable bottom, sprayed with non-stick spray.
Bake for 25 minutes. Cool completely then cut into 16 triangles.
Store in individual paper bags, then freeze up to a month to enjoy a freshly baked brownie later.
Makes 16 brownies, 182 calories each.
