Salted Toffee Pecan Bars

Salted Toffee Pecan Bars are my new favorite treat — I’ve made them three times this week. I’ve baked these bad boys with and without pecans and once using peanut butter chips instead of toffee bits. Every variation was scrumptious!
They’re gooey and buttery, just so yummy. The toffee bits are the final addition to the dough.
Salted Toffee Pecan Bars
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 tablespoon flaked salt
