Some people collect shoes or seashells or who knows what. I happen to be in love with dishes and have managed to hoard an extensive assortment of all things tabletop. I am obsessively drawn to festive and inviting table settings and have such a blast picking out what plates, napkins or tablecloths will best dress just about any occasion or holiday.

The two main characters of this tabletop are the melamine rounded square appetizer plates that I have gathered from Target stores in Texas, Utah, Colorado and Oklahoma, with my sisters and friends helping me as I hunt down extras here and there.

The fabulous platter is my most favorite souvenir from our anniversary trip last summer to Belgium. Tune in another time when I talk about the Pylones store where I happened up that bright and handy treasure.
